Charity events
We, as a group, believe in the importance of giving back to those who may need help more than we do. Beyond bringing joy and laughter through our streams, we are committed to sharing the happiness we experience with others who deserve it just as much.While we may not be able to provide everything on our own, we believe that through our platforms, we can raise awareness and connect with those who can fully support our mission to help those in need.
Project Ranyag (November - December 2023)
Ranyag, meaning “the radiance of light” in Ilocano, is a personal outreach program founded by Pamela Esguerra in 2015. The project’s goal is to benefit the indigenous children of Langiden, Abra and inspire them to value their education and learn towards a brighter future.So far, Ranyag has conducted donations and food programs for the children of Langiden twice in 2015 and twice in 2016, along with informal art classes for children in the more remote regions of Langiden.Funds were raised via Gank in collaboration with other Philippine VTubers. Proceeds from the fundraiser went towards providing children from grades K to 6 with new school supplies, along with a food program to celebrate the festive season.Multiple members of Vi-HǪLL joined in to support the donation drive via streaming, and had managed to add an additional $350 to the proceeds for Ranyag.
VTuber Summer Slam by Gamers Outreach (June - July 2024)
Gamers Outreach is a charity that empowers hospitalized families through play. Our goal is to build a world where activity is easily prioritized as part of care. Video games are our tools of choice.Being in the hospital can be scary & isolating. Games give kids access to adventure & opportunities to socialize. Sometimes healthcare staff even use games to assist with treatment!Kids deserve a chance to be themselves. Video games inspire joy. They’re a source of enrichment & relief. Our programs restore a sense of normalcy in hospitals. We’re helping kids heal by improving the patient experience.Multiple members of Vi-HǪLL joined in to support the donation drive via streaming, and had managed to add an additional $120 to the proceeds for VTuber Summer Slam 2024.
WHAT IS Vi-HǪLL
The name Vi-HǪLL /ˈvihôl/ came from the old Norse name of Valhalla,Valhǫll, which meant "hall of the slain". This was changed to Vi-hǫll, for the meaning to change to "hall of Vtubers".Vi-HǪLL was formed on May 9, 2022 by the three founding members: Cassiopeia "Cassie" Rhola, Pirena Darago and SirGhostArc "Esca". The three formed the group due to their increasing number of collabs together, with the intention of creating a lore tied with one another.The group decided to expand and seven members were added on September 2022, namely AlexTGTV, Mayari, Ram Vonshus, Skytzsy, Vanix Evans, Winter Haven and Yin Rikka, which eventually paved the way for the formation of the group's first wave, "Vi-LLǪIN".The group had since expanded, and on December 31st 2024 has added nine more members to the group. They became the group's second wave, "Vi-GILǪNTE". The second wave consists of the following VTubers: Albi Lynxian, Apolaki, Archaeus Raevis, Buddy Blue, Doppel Griz, Pallaris, Xeri Amaranth, Wolfeh and Yari.There are currently seventeen active members of the group.
